Commercialization Project Manager

Job Purpose:
We are currently seeking a Commercialization Project Manager with a minimum of ten years broad engineering and product development experience to ensure that the new products launch on schedule and within budget. Candidate must have significant experience managing large, complex engineering projects from design through completion of prototypes to production release. As a member of a growing team in a start-up environment, you will work with your peers and external partners to develop core processes, practices, applications, and methodologies to enable rapid growth.

Essential Functions:
  • Manage projects from conception through delivery of prototypes working closely with BSW resources, external partners, contractors and outside vendors.
  • Prepare project schedules and develops milestones necessary to successfully complete the project.
  • Continually monitor all aspects of project performance to expected/planned requirements and takes immediate corrective action if necessary.
  • Identify and mitigate all issues that pose a risk to project.
  • Ensure engineering deliverables issued in a timely manner, to an acceptable level of technical quality and with the appropriate level of reviews completed.
  • Support engineering by providing technical advice and resolving problems or uncertainties.
  • Ensure project team adheres to financial budgets, milestones targets and deliverables.
Preferences:
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in an Engineering or Business discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years working experience in the fields of product development, engineering and project management.
  • Proven success in contract negotiations and managing budgets, timelines, and third party contractors with focus on effective results and milestone achievement.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing and product management , Six Sigma, ISO, product certification and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Experience with technology transfer and releasing products to manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of project management skills; project management certification is a plus.
  • Results driven.
  • Hands-on experience with product development through plant start-up & Lean Manufacturing System development preferred.

Solar Panel Engineer

Job Purpose:
We are seeking a degree-qualified Solar Panel Engineer with a minimum of three years working experience in solar module engineering design and manufacturing. As a member of a growing team in a start-up environment and under the leadership of our Senior Solar Engineer, you will work with your peers and external partners to develop core processes, practices, applications, and methodologies to enable rapid growth.

Essential Functions:
  • Develop interconnect solutions and layouts for module designs to optimize solar performance in unique applications.
  • Support the effort for rapid generation of prototypes and launch products to production.
  • Confer with vendors to determine product specifications, evaluate and purchase equipment, materials, or parts.
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and management of suppliers, focusing on technical innovation and raw materials cost.
  • Work with regulatory bodies to ensure safety, environmental and design standards are met.
  • Work with major customers, suppliers and joint venture partners so that the organization image is reflected in the most positive manner.
Preferences:
  • Bachelor Degree or higher in an Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in the field of Solar Cell Module Engineering.
  • Knowledge of materials characterization, failure analysis techniques and lamination production process.
  • Experience with electrical and optical characterization of solar cells and modules.
  • Experience with developing and reliability testing of encapsulants /coatings, and the analysis and design of module interconnects.
  • Working knowledge of DOE, six sigma, ISO, product certification and statistical analysis techniques; experience with Jmp or Minitab is a plus.
  • Experience with technology transfer and releasing products to manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of project management skills.

Marketing Program Manager

Job Purpose:
We are seeking an individual with a minimum of five years working in marketing and communications with experience in social media and inbound marketing. As a member of a growing team in a start-up environment and under the leadership of our VP of Sales and Marketing, you will work with your peers and external partners to develop core processes, practices, applications, and methodologies to enable rapid growth.

Essential Functions:
  • Implement and expand our integrated marketing strategy.
  • Manage internet marketing and social media development, including website, campaigns, and customer relationship management.
  • Oversee content creation by multiple sources (e.g., internal, contractors, customers) for use in media, marketing and sales tools.
  • Participate in the evaluation, selection, and management of contractors, focusing on creativity, effectiveness, and metrics while balancing cost and time constraints.
  • Plan and manage participation in selected trade shows and events.
  • Work with customers, community and regulatory bodies to ensure understanding of needs, requirements and future influences to validate and improve BSW’s value proposition.
  • Work with major customers, strategic partners and projects to develop co-marketing strategy that grows market and reflects all parties in the most positive manner.

  • Bachelor Degree or higher.
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in marketing and communications.
  • Experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), inbound marketing, and campaign design and management.
  • Experience in Social Media implementation and content creation and distribution.
  • Proven success in managing budgets, timelines, and third party contractors with focus on effective results.
  • Ability to bridge and communicate between technical staff and diverse customer sets.
  • Ability to transform creative insights into actions and influence strategy.
  • Deep understanding and involvement with corporate social responsibility, shared value and sustainability is a plus.
  • Experience in process design and change management is a plus.

We are seeking an individual with a minimum of five years working in strategic B2B Sales with global and brand name companies, developing strong long-term relationships that result in high volume recurring sales while participating in BSW’s channel development and value proposition refinement. As a member of a growing team in a start-up environment and under the leadership of our VP of Sales and Marketing, you will work with your peers and external partners to develop core processes, practices, applications, and methodologies to enable rapid growth and success.

Essential Functions:
  • Proven success in profitable and recurring sales with strategic customers.
  • Track record of sales leadership in multi-million domestic and international sales.
  • Ability to develop strategic partnership with vendors and customer for co-marketing and cross-sell opportunity (e.g., products, professional services, financing, joint development).
  • Manage and co-ordinate sales efforts with channel partners, marketing, field service, professional services, product fulfillment and financing.
  • Established presenter and spokesperson with ability to facilitate collaboration and  adoption of creative insights person.
  • Manage sales funnel process with focus on effective actions, high value and opportunity.
  • Work with customers, community and regulatory bodies to ensure understanding of needs, requirements and future influences to validate and improve BSW’s value proposition and offerings.
